My online marketing mentor asked me a disturbing question, "Why are you here?", "What are your goals?". I was startled and had only a few seconds to think about my answer since I sensed that he is waiting for my answer at that very moment. I answered him that I am an employee and a budding entrepreneur in fact I told him that I am planning to open an online store. I told him, "I am here because I want to learn and I want to earn extra income." In which he answered, "Extra? Is 200 pesos a month okay with you, hey that's still extra." I said "No." Then he told me, "Don't settle for "extra income". Choose to dream big and goal big."
As I pondered on his statements I realized he was right. Most of us are looking for some extra work to earn income when we can have an extra work and huge income not "extra". We are destined and created for greatness. In fact God designed our minds and bodies so intelligently that even modern science cannot fully explain the mystery and capacity of the human mind.
There is a gold mine in everyone of us. It is just up to us to claim that gold mine to be ours. If you choose to settle for less, you will always get the "extra". If you choose to be great, then greatness is yours.
Jesus gave His life for each us. That means I am special, YOU are special.
