My Suesh Certificate |
The Lessons:
I enjoyed all the lessons especially the techniques on how to make eyes appear smaller or bigger. I also had fun on the airbrush! It was a challenge at first but when you get the hang of it it is enjoyable. I also enjoyed doing the avant garde or fantasy makeup. I wanted to create a mother nature look but since I don't have any experience yet on making a fantasy look this was quite a challenge to me. Good thing about fantasy makeup is that there are no rules, imagination is your limit. So even if I was challenged by this type of makeup I enjoyed doing it anyway.
The Workshop:
What I don't like in this workshop is that you have to bring your own model. I had to ask friends who are willing to be my model. Luckily my cousin and a close friend gave in to my request. One of my classmates wasn't able to bring a model so she had to "borrow" a niece of a Suesh staff who happpend to visit the store. Our teacher during our workshop is Ms. Suzane Tan, one of the owners or Suesh. She was nice and openly gave her techniques in makeup. You'll really learn a lot out of this 2-day workshop. (The 15 hours is divided into 2 days).
The Tools:
The tools we used were provided by Suesh but you can bring your own set of brushes if you like. I also like the different makeup set available for us.
If you are also interested on joining Suesh makeup workshop visit the Suesh multiply account here. They have different workshops depending on someone's level or skill. They have workshops for beginners, advance and comprehensive makeup. They also offer workshops for hair styling.
Joining this workshop is a step closer to my dream of becoming a professional makeup artist. I know I have yet to learn so much more, but that's okay because I enjoy what I do. :)
Thanks for reading! xoxo
